Wissenschaftliches Schreiben will erlernt sein. Oft fällt es Anfängern schwer, bisweilen bringt es Stilblüten hervor, die in ihrer frischen Naivität einfach zu schön sind - so wie Folgendes aus einer Hausarbeit über W. v. Humboldt und den 160 Jahre nach Humboldt geborenen Pädagogen Wolfgang Klafki:

"Wenn man Humboldt und Klafki miteinander vergleicht, kann man nicht sagen, der Eine hat recht und der Andere ist im unrecht. Vielmehr ist es so, dass sie aufeinander aufbauen [...]"

"Gestische Fotografie" entsteht nicht durch Photoshop-Effekte, sondern durch Versuche mit gezielter Bewegung der Kamera bei der Aufnahme. Es wird also quasi direkt auf den Sensor "gemalt". (Es lohnt sich, die Bilder in Vollauflösung anzuschauen!)

The first pic is the (boring) original iPhone photo (Hamburg main station), the second one has been manipulated with TiltShiftGen. As you see, all the "unimportant" information is gone. Thanks to the uncommon blurring, the pic now oscillates between a real and a miniature world impression. Finally added some more unreality with Lo-Mob (pics 3 - 5).

There are quite some nice "lo-fi" iPhone photo apps out there (like format126), but Lo-Mob is special as it features some very experimental setups and effects, such as through-the-(vintage-)viewfinder shots, several vintage instants and polaroid manipulations, contact prints from glass etc. In each effect, filters, blurring, vignetting and framing can be switched on and off individually.

Strange; the ones that look good as a thumbnail don't look that good in full res and vice versa.

Oder vielleicht ist es auch nur auch Pathos, wer weiß. "Was Kitsch ist, erkennt man nur, wenn man ihn nicht selber produziert" (Daniele Lievi. zit. n. Reichenbach: Pädagogischer Kitsch). 

Natürlich versucht man, durch formale Mittel Brechungen zu erzeugen; vielleicht ist es der Fluch des Amateurs, genau diese immer wieder zu verfehlen.

Wenn ich schon dabei bin: Erde und Nebel treffen übrigens auch in diesem schön-melancholischen Gedicht Ernst Jandls aufeinander: "der nebel ist das leben, wenn man es von hinten beginnt ..."

The Plaka is one of the oldest parts of athens, beautifully located beneath the acropolis, hosting many restaurants and tourist shops. That depicted place is the very nice and vivid Monastiraki Place. The building on the right hand is the Monastiraki subway station; the big building left is a mosque.

The modernistic building is the new Acropolis Museum, which opened up some weeks ago. Very cool thing.
